I’m a writer and content marketer from a seaside town in the UK.  (I used to be a sea scout and once almost sold an oyster to Orlando Bloom).

I started out writing about arts and culture
. I have a degree in Art History from the University of Cambridge (I lived in a room at the bottom of a spiral staircase, and a hairy spider crossed it every day at about 3 pm), after which I worked as a researcher on a series of art documentaries, HENI Talks, and then as a junior editor for the art magazine Blouin Artinfo.

Around the time of the pandemic, I pivoted to the tech industry—and haven’t looked back. This brought me to the eternally blue skies of Barcelona (a city I’m hopelessly in love with, even though the anti-expat graffiti in my neighbourhood suggests the feeling isn’t mutual).

After working in-house for a couple of great SaaS brands, I set up on my own as a content marketing freelancer in 2022. Since then, I’ve worked with some brilliant clients, and the flexibility allowed me to earn my Master’s in Design for Responsible AI at ELISAVA University last year.

I offer content strategy and copywriting services, predominantly to digital brands, and also maintain a journalistic practice, writing about themes within my two pet disciplines: technology ethics and art history.
